A firework cake or barrage is a type of firework where multiple tubes are fused together. This means you only need to light the firework once and multiple shots will appear, making it an easy, yet impressive firework choice for your display!
Any good firework display needs to look fantastic, but more important than that, it must be safe. That’s why our range of barrage fireworks and cakes are the ideal option for a safer firework display that doesn’t compromise on the wow factor. Our best firework cakes will impress anyone on their birthday, no matter what age they are turning.
Firework cakes are multi shot fireworks that only need to be ignited once, reducing the amount of contact time required in close quarters, and increasing the length of display time for the perfect addition to your firework display. They are constructed using multiple cardboard tubes which are fused together and connected by a single ignition point, meaning that once lit the individual tubes will be set off, one after another for an impressive, longer-lasting display.
Each of our barrage box fireworks has a personality of its own, and no two are the same. So, if you’re hoping to create a unique firework display to be remembered – you’ve come to the right place!
Easy to light, and impressive to watch; our selection of high-quality multi-shot fireworks will be the perfect accompaniment to your event.

Multi Shot Fireworks FAQs
Do I need permission to set off fireworks?
There is no need to get permission or a licence to set off fireworks, they are completely legal if you are setting them off in your back garden. Private firework displays have no rules and no formalities need to be followed, so you don’t need to inform anyone (but perhaps your neighbours). The only time you would need to get permission to set off fireworks is if you are planning to set them off on property that isn’t yours, such as a pub garden or in a park, especially if you are charging people to watch.

Can I let off fireworks in my garden?
At Let’s Party Fireworks, most of our fireworks are category 3, meaning you will need to leave at least 25 meters for viewing distance. Some fireworks we sell are category 2 and with these it’s recommended to leave a viewing distance of 5 meters, luckily meaning they are suitable for smaller gardens. You will need to be aware of dangerous hazards in your garden, like overhanging trees, long grass or extra narrow gardens. You can speak to one of our experts if you need some advice about the fireworks for your garden or outside space.

All our fireworks at Let’s Party Fireworks can be used for any kind of celebration, it is completely up to you! Many of our customers enjoy being spectators of firework displays. Fireworks provide a fantastic surprise for birthdays, engagements, Christmas and of course, on Bonfire Night along with fire.
Why go for multi shot fireworks?
Multi-shot cakes are the most popular fireworks we sell, because they have a number of shots when they have been ignited, and they fill the whole sky in an array of colours and patterns. The spectacular effect they have makes them some of the best fireworks out there. Some of these fireworks last for up to 3 minutes!
What does the weather need to be like to set off fireworks?
To set off any fireworks, you will need to have dry weather. Some don’t let bad weather affect their displays, whilst others will get more affected by wind, rain or snow. You can protect fireworks from any rainfall with polythene bags or clingfilm. If you have very strong winds in your area, it might be best to set the fireworks off another day. Don’t light a bonfire if it’s windy and rainy either as it will just go out.
